The varied breakfast menu offers outstanding local ingredients and memorable homemade options like tomato chutney with scrambled eggs. Unique quirks throughout the house, such as thoughtful decor and doves in the garden, create a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
The hot tub was temporarily out of commission due to cleaning after a spill, which was a letdown after a long day exploring. While the hotel has some charming touches, there are limited accessibility features as it requires a few steps to enter, and only a ground-floor room is available.

Had a fantastic time with friends! The hosts were super welcoming, and the breakfasts were top-notch—better than most hotels! We enjoyed exploring the stunning Cairngorms National Park and checking out the local shops for outdoor gear. it’s a great spot for skiing in winter and hiking in summer!
Be aware that if you're staying in a room at the back, train noises may be a concern at night depending on the schedule.

The hospitality from Kevin and Kirsty stands out. their warmth and assistance during our stay made us feel right at home. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, featuring fresh eggs that brought a delightful touch to the meal. I found the bathroom could use some updating, and making breakfast selections the night before can feel a bit restrictive. While the room was clean and comfortable, the location was slightly tricky to find, requiring a walk around the property.
